Why Litel ?

 

 Litel’ introduced Short-wave Infrared Dryers in India in the early 90’s.

Now we are offering the third generation design with many state-of-the -art features.

Proven IR emitter design

 

-Self-manufactured infrared emitters which are internationally accepted.

-These high-penetrating capacity shortwave emitters are exported to developed countries like US, UK, Germany etc.

World-class equipment design

 

-Lightweight, compact equipment (typically 0.5m / 1m in the direction of sheet travel), corrosion free construction in stainless steel. Its unique pivoted type design makes it suitable for installation in any position and direction.

-High intensities of IR radiation ( up to 600 kW/M² ).

-24 carat Gold coated reflectors manufactured in-house.  Gold has a reflectivity of 99%. The savings in electricity bills are enormous.

-Quartz sheet cover- is transparent to infrared radiation. Protects the emitters and gold coated reflectors from water splashes and dust; can be cleaned easily.

-Another important feature of Litel dryer is that the total power consumption of fans is less than any known imported system and also substantially less than the hot air based systems available on the market

Unique air system design

 

-Air Management System :  At the sheet surface there is a boundary layer of air which rapidly becomes saturated and obstructs further evaporation. Hence an effective air management system is essential, to maintain thermal efficiency and to prevent curl and uncontrolled sheet temperature variation.

-Air impingement at elevated temperatures and continuous exhaust of vapour laden air give a higher efficiency of evaporation.

-A unique feature of Litel equipment is the absolute uniformity of velocities across the width.

-Enhanced life of components due to air cooling. IR emitters have given 15000-20000 hrs life in field.

-Instantaneous ‘On’ & ‘Off’ switching of emitters

-Thyristorised (SCR) power regulator for stepless power variation.

-Automatic safety interlocks against breakage in web, machine stoppage, blower failure etc
